Planner

About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Planner. In this role, you'll work closely with customers, suppliers, logistics partners and colleagues across the business to ensure the smooth planning and delivery of products whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards.
You'll play a key role in managing sales and purchase contracts, coordinating deliveries and supporting the wider trading, planning and administration teams. Working collaboratively and taking ownership of your responsibilities, you'll help ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service, handling queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, hauliers and logistics partners.
- Confirm and plan customer deliveries in line with customer requirements and business priorities.
- Manage third-party logistics activities, including monitoring ETAs, booking delivery slots and resolving customer or site issues.
- Support the accurate management of sales and purchase contracts.
- Monitor logistics partner performance and work collaboratively to drive service improvements.
- Work closely with Trading, Planning and Administration teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Identify and escalate issues proactively, taking ownership to support timely resolution.
About You
