The ForFarmers Commercial Development Programme is your opportunity to launch your career in the agri-feed industry. This two-year agri-sales programme is designed to give you an in-depth understanding of ForFarmers’ commercial operation from sourcing to selling.
At the end of the programme, having experienced all the business has to offer and gained a better understanding of your own skill set, ForFarmers will aim to work with you to find a full-time role, bringing with it greater responsibility and continued training.
The ForFarmers Commercial Development Programme includes personal training and development focused on commercial and technical skills. It provides the fundamentals required to be successful in a highly competitive marketplace and with customers expecting high levels of service. You’ll learn how to make a difference on farm and strengthen relationships, combining those skills to deliver successful results.
You are also partnered with a mentor from within the business throughout the programme giving you opportunity to share experience and ask for advice.
The training modules include both commercial and ruminant technical skills:
A core part of the programme, placements last six to nine months and are located throughout the UK so travel is required.
