Family Drives and develops the ability of engineering, logistics and production operations to efficiently and effectively meet market demand while ensuring maximum production safety, quantity and quality. Discipline Ensures the efficient and economical delivery of the organisation's products. Activities may include operating trucks, vans or adapted vehicles to pick up and deliver products, supplies and equipment to and from organisation, supplier and customer sites. Activities may further include complex pickups and deliveries (e.g., night deliveries, international travel), analysing transportation and distribution systems and procedures and planning and coordinating fleet operations, including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance service and repair, and disposal of trucks, and hires common carriers (third-party transportation organisations) as appropriate

Your role


As a driver, you’ll be delivering customer orders directly to farms across the country—meaning no two days are ever the same.


If you’re tired of long waits at distribution centres, sitting in drivers’ rooms, and repetitive motorway routes, this could be the role for you.
This is hands-on, physical work in a fast-paced environment. It’s not the cleanest job, but it offers variety, independence, and a real sense of reward. Every day brings a new challenge and a different destination.

Your responsibilities

LGV Driving

  • All legal requirements to be met fully. Consideration for other road users and members of the public. Clear, accurate completion of tachograph records, manual entries and defect reports. Vehicles to be operated within relevant speed and weight limits at all times. Nights out will be involved.

Feed Delivery

  • Accurate, safe working on customers farms. Care to be taken at all times to achieve correct bins for feed and UFAS compliance. Safety of farm employees, children and stock are paramount. Damage to buildings or other property to be avoided.

Paperwork

  • All delivery records, cleaning records, defect reports etc., to be completed accurately, in full and on time.

Health & Safety

  • Comply fully with company & customer health and safety policies.

  • Environment

  • Fully adhere to rules set out in the site IPPC, comply with company environment policy and assist the transport manager to improve the site EMS

Your Profile:

  • Qualification:- C+E licence

  • Ownership of a digital Tachograph Card

  • Driver certificate of Professional Competency.

  • Regular driving of LGV’s.

  • Fluent in English: Constant communication with colleagues and customers

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to comply with legislation

  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism
