Your role

As a key contact for farm customers and internal teams, you will focus on delivering high-quality service, fostering strong relationships

with customers and suppliers, and maintaining operational excellence. The role is distinct in its focus on raw materials and production

planning, requiring collaboration across procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure end-to-end alignment.

Roles and responsibilities

Customer Service & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, hauliers and farm customers, providing proactive communication throughout the ordering and
  • delivery process.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, hauliers, and suppliers to support smooth operations and high satisfaction levels.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with a solution-oriented approach, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Production Planning

  • Develop and coordinate production schedules to meet forecasted demand and ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Work closely with production teams to align schedules with raw material availability and optimise efficiency.
  • Identify and address potential scheduling conflicts or disruptions to maintain production continuity.

Delivery Coordination

  • Confirm and plan customer deliveries, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and operational timelines.
  • Update internal systems with accurate and real-time order and delivery information.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to manage transportation and ensure on-time deliveries.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure accurate management of sales and purchase contracts in compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Drive collaboration across departments to integrate raw material planning, production scheduling, and delivery processes.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer facing and planning role

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Professional phone manner

  • Proficiency in SAP, SIS systems

  • Excel and Word Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach

  • Numerate and financially aware

  • Autonomous, resilient, and adaptable
