We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role of Compliance Development Lead. Reporting into the Operations Manager this is a key position for the delivery of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance, along with process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across all functions. The successful candidate will play an important part in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology and the supporting framework to deliver business transformation.

The key aspects of the role are to support the site Senior Team in all aspects of HSE & quality compliance and to drive the improvement of processes and systems within supply chain, and implement programs that will have continuing long-term benefits. You will need to be able to develop plans, schedules, and budgets for projects to improve existing processes.

Deliver coaching/training plans in line with supply chain requirements.

Ideally we are looking for a strong analytical individual with project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements. You will need to have a good understanding of continuous improvement concepts and the ability to run a Practical Problem Solving project. You will also need to be an excellent communicator able to manage multiple stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, preferably in the context of implementing major operational change.

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level or have the equivalent experience, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and have relevant Lean Six Sigma qualifications or be prepared to work towards these.
