Night Bulk Loader - £32,500

Exeter - Full time, 40 hours per week, 18:00 – 02:00

The Bulk Outloader reports directly to the Production Team Manager and is to ensure that the out loading is done efficiently and to the confirmed plan. They will operate in conjunction with the shift through loading activity to achieve full utilization of finished product bin space, in line with UFAS requirements. The Bulk Outloader will keep in line with H&S requirements and act as a quality auditor at the point of goods out. You will be working as part of the shift team, so it is essential our successful candidate can work well within a team environment and have the ability to self-motivate.

You will have awareness of the Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities, ensuring compliance with all procedures and systems of work. The candidate will be required to carry out shunting of 8-wheeler rigid and articulated vehicles on night duties, so experience with HGVs is desirable.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Loads wagons on time to the required plan  Check vehicle before loading to make sure it is ready to be loaded, and are in clean state  Communicate to Colleagues and other departments if there are any issues is achieving the plan  Ensure Environmental management system is followed and adhered to complying with

BS EN ISO 14001/50001 

Ensure the shift is maintained to high level of H&S, and any issues are communicated in a timely manner and       follow up actions completed  Maintain site processes / std in line with the UFAS code of practice  To act as last line of finish product monitoring to ensure that all feed loaded during his shift meets company       / UFAS std’s  To be able to safely shunt HGV vehicles around company premises, and to operate both loading shovel and       forklift as required  Manager the loading space of the yard and vehicles while loading  To ensure that all raw Material  loads are sampled and control/maintain sample storage room for raw materials    and finished products  Participate in the tier accountability process   To ensure that delivery drivers comply to company instructions in line with UFAS requirements  Operate the mill intake system in line with procedures for cross contamination  Tip CLR remix during their shift   To ensure that the working area is maintained to an acceptable std of Hygiene throughout shift  By exception deliver to farms Any other duties requested by the Production Team Manager

Your CV shows:

  • FLT Counterbalance licence desirable.
  • Previous Warehouse experience.
  • An awareness of the importance of our responsibilities to working within current legislation.
  • Ability to abide by health and safety procedures.
  • CPC Qualification and C+E licence
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Experience with shunting/HGV vehicles is desirable.
