Innovative HSE professional enhances ForFarmers commitment to excellence

ForFarmers has welcomed Alec Robertson to its team as Southern Sites Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager. With an extensive background in construction safety, manufacturing, and senior management roles, Alec brings a wealth of experience and a proactive approach to elevating safety standards within the company.

Alec’s CV includes the role of Senior UK Group HSE Manager for an asbestos management company before moving to the Middle East to focus on construction safety, developing expertise in overseeing safety protocols across diverse projects.

Upon his return to the UK Alec moved to a senior HSE role with a special metals refinery gaining manufacturing experience before progressing to UK HSE Manager for a prominent utilities company. Most recently he was CDM Manager for project works at food manufacturing sites.

In his new role as Southern Sites HSE Manager for ForFarmers, Alec will operate from a home base while overseeing safety measures and compliance across sites from Bury St Edmonds to Exeter. His role includes supporting and challenging the sites to achieve their HSE objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
