Joining ForFarmers

“I have only been with ForFarmers for 6 months, previously working on a pig unit, I fancied a change – which it really has been!”

“I previously worked as a Farrowing Manager for a 400 sow indoor unit, looking after piglets from birth to weaning, and the lactating sows – it was good fun but incredibly hard at times.”

“Every day I learn something new about the company and the agricultural industry and I hope that continues for many years!”

“I really enjoy working with a group of people who are all striving to achieve the same high standards for our farming customers.”

“I work from home, my typical day includes a mixture of virtual meetings and helping customers.””

“We support proactively, managing all customer requests.”

“Our aim as a department is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to do business with ForFarmers, ensuring we resolve any queries quickly and effectively.”

“A recent focus has been on the game sector for Marsdens at the start of the new season. I’ve been working closely with our game specialists, supporting with customer related administration; from on-boarding new customers to dealing with invoice queries.”

“It’s been great to experience working with the game team, a sector which I grew up with, living on a farm with a pheasant and partridge shoot.”

Outside of work

“I run dog training classes and compete in dog agility (not always successfully) with my working Cocker Spaniel Digger – which is always great fun.”
