My 15 years with ForFarmers

"Over my many years with ForFarmers, I’ve found myself in numerous roles within production and operations.

I started my career as a packer at the mill and since then I’ve gone on to be a press operator, team leader and then a compliance coordinator which involved looking after all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) compliance related matters.

I spent around 5 months working at Burston mill- it was great to experience a different mill from where I am usually based in Bury St Edmunds.

 My role now is Production Manager, which is a varied role which certainly keeps me on my toes.”

“The VIDA range of piglet diets continues to be a big focus for us here at Bury, we are one of the only mills which manufacture the range of VIDA speciality diets in the country.

The diets are extremely technical, with many processes followed to ensure they are produced to the highest standard.”
