Implement best practice

Being the Commercial Manager of Homemix Nutrition I manage the UK team of Monogastric Commercial Nutritionists who support and give advice to pig and poultry customers who mill and mix their own feed on farm. I work alongside my team to ensure we are meeting the specific needs of each customer to add as much value as possible to their business. We do this by working alongside other departments to offer Total Feed solutions for our customers.

It is up to the individual to open doors

Since starting with the business I have been on various training courses which cover a multitude of areas including sales training and a management development programme. I also had practical training on indoor and outdoor pig farms which was fundamental when starting out as a Commercial Nutritionist in this area. ForFarmers has various training Academies that are great. 

However what I like the most is the fact ForFarmers provides so many opportunities for personal development and career progression both in the UK and on the continent, and that is why they are my employer of choice.
